California's divided into some 58 counties.

Forty-eight of those counties are in Northern California alone - according to Wikipedia.

So there's lots of places to go, sights to see, and things to do.

But it always amazes us at Northern California Fun just how many people really don't know very much about the northern part of California.

So let's take a tour. Together we'll learn about California gold rush days and guest ranches nestled in the mountains.

We'll tour California wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and the Sierra Foothills and more.

We'll find where people go for the best white water rafting, kayaking, and canoeing.

We'll tour the beaches for spots to watch the whales, surf, scuba dive, or snorkel.

Or where some of the favorite dining spots are in San Francisco and other cities and towns.

We'll find vacation spots for the whole family to enjoy... theme parks, wildlife safari trips, water parks, national parks to explore, and more.

We'll discover Northern California's
secluded little getaways...

Sights to see... like active gold mines up and down highway 49.

We'll tour Old town in Sacramento.

Rest our heads at bed and breakfasts tucked away in quaint little towns.

Train rides. Hiking and biking trails. Out-of-the-way camping spots, and so much more.

We'll visit places like...

And if those aren't your particular interests, we'll seek out some little secluded rendezvous for charming weekend getaways... where you can enjoy soothing massages, romantic candle-lit dinners, and special reserve wines.
